Leighton J. Annis is President of Suburban Brokers Inc. He graduated from Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, Pennsylvania and joined Suburban Brokers Inc. in 1984. He is a member of the Rochelle Park, NJ Rotary Club, the Fair Lawn, NJ Chamber of Commerce, and the Allendale, NJ Holiday Observers.
He is married with two daughters. |

Our History
Suburban Brokers was founded in 1956 by the Annis family. Originally, Arthur H. Annis and his son Jay sold both real estate and insurance. By the mid-seventies, Suburban Brokers focused solely on insurance. Together Arthur and Jay grew their business by providing clients with a variety of established insurance carriers.
Since then, the Annis family has continued its long-standing tradition of servicing families and businesses with their specific insurance needs. In 1984, Leighton Annis joined his father and grandfather in the family business. Now, generations of the Annis family were selling insurance to generations of families and businesses.
Though Arthur and Jay have passed on, Leighton continues in the Annis tradition of providing excellent services to customers while obtaining competitive prices and policies tailored to clients’ needs. He oversees a staff of qualified, passionate people dedicated to guiding others in making the best insurance decisions.
Suburban Brokers has called Fair Lawn, New Jersey home for 60 years. We are proud to be part of the Fair Lawn and Bergen County Communities. We are also proud of our hard-earned reputation in the insurance industry.
